On behalf of the government, the National Property Board of Sweden (SFV) manages our common natural and cultural heritage. We manage a variety of state-owned properties – including government buildings, courts, castles and royal estates, theaters, museums, embassies, as well as one-seventh of the country's area consisting of forests and land.

The property area Ulriksdal has local offices in Ulriksdal, Strömsholm, Mariefred, and Rosersberg, and we manage, for example, Ulriksdal Castle, Strömsholm's riding school and castle area, Gripsholm Castle, Rosersberg Castle, Nyköping's house, and all buildings on these properties. We are now looking for a park technician for Rosersberg! With us, you will be part of a team with two other park technicians. Here, you will work alongside operations technicians, property managers, technical managers, a management assistant, and an operations manager.
Your Role
As a park technician, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of land and parks in Rosersberg. You will have daily contact with our tenants. You will independently manage parks, forests, and tree stocks according to the maintenance plan. During the growing season, from April to October, you will act as a team leader for our seasonal staff. You will be responsible for snow removal and providing the manager with documentation for budget preparation. Heavy lifting may occur in this position.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who has:
- education in park and garden management or equivalent experience from the workforce,
- several years of documented experience as a park technician,
- experience coordinating park work and colleagues,
- chainsaw license class RA,
- experience operating garden machinery such as tractors and riding lawnmowers,
- good machine knowledge as the job includes performing service and minor repairs on our machines and tools,
- experience with snow removal,
- experience in planning and planting flowers and flower beds,
- experience working digitally with e.g. reporting faults, invoices, budget and planning work as all reporting is done in our IT systems such as Proceedo, Heroma, IA, DEDU,
- good Swedish both spoken and written, and
- driving license class B.
Meritorious:
- experience in protective pruning of park trees, shaping of shrubs, and pruning of fruit trees.

Employment form: The position is a permanent employment that begins with a 6-month probationary period.
Location: Rosersberg
Start date: By agreement
Possibility of remote work: The possibility of remote work is limited.
